The North Church
Men have a Men's Breakfast Club which usually meets at 8:00 AM on the
third Wednesday of every month, at Café Espresso. Café Espresso is in the
800 Islington Plaza, which is located on Islington Street in Portsmouth,
across the parking lot from the Hannaford's Stop and Save Plaza.
"Since the fall
of 1898 a men's club, bearing the name of one of the church's great
layman, John Langdon, has met monthly during the winter season. It is a
parish club for the promotion of helpful fellowship, the consideration of
subjects of general interest, and for fostering the things that pertain to
good citizenship". |
