Nursery Teachers

The Nursery Teachers at North Church are called to lovingly care for the well-being of young children, communicate well with families and volunteers, create a nurturing environment and keep the space running smoothly. Reliability and punctuality are very important, as well as an ability to be flexible and creative with the weekly lessons. You will be given a simple curriculum to follow, along with supplies to decorate the nursery and make it your own. The Nursery Teacher leads an age-appropriate Sunday School lesson each week, and encourages volunteers to use their creativity in the nursery as well.

  • 9:30-11:30 a.m. each Sunday during the school year.

  • 4:30-6:30 p.m. service on Christmas eve. (Time and a half)

Compensation

  • Job Type: Part-time

  • Pay: $75/week

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.

  • Must be able to submit and pass a background check.

  • Must be a high school graduate.

Preferences

  • CPR Certified, or willing to become certified

  • Demonstrated experience working with children
