Around this time of year, there are graphics that go around on social media proclaiming liberation for those who are queer, for people of color, for people who are disabled, for people who face injustice. And inevitably someone asks: well why can’t there be a straight pride month?

Twice a year, Pastor Jenn attends a learning program called Next Generation Leadership Initiative. At each gathering she joins her cohort and other cohorts of young, promising clergy in the United Church of Christ for vitality treks, graduate-level intensive courses, and shared renewal.
